Just getting some thoughts on breeding Alex. Obviously I would want a HUS type QH. She's an appendix, 5 years old, an own daughter of Last Detail. I certainly have my favorite stallions, but wondering what you all thought about Alex being a mommy for 2008. This pic was taken in March. She hasn't had any work since last year.

Oh, I would look into PS Sign The Card if you would like another stud to consider. OR Iron Enterprise (thats who my filly is out of and she is such a fast learner and an easy-go-attitude). And yes, DO TELL who you are going to breed her too!

Only if I can have the foal! HAHA I'd love to see Alex in foal to a nice HUS stallion!

I agree! Alex would make a terrific mommy, now what studs are you considering? Have you selected a breed or more general HUS type talent?

No, I have not selected a stallion. In fact I don't even know if I want to breed her, Jess does!! And I love that stallion PS Sign the Card. He is amazing and every foal is nicer than the last. Just putting it out there to see what people think.

First, I think Alex has a good body and from the video's I've seen is a lovely mover, so conformationally speaking, there's no reason I can find that she should not be bred. Next, Since she is 'opinionated' I'd definately be looking for a sire that consistently produces offspring with a strong desire to please and that are easy going
