Breed-ability critique

So I know you all have done hundreds of these recently, so I tried my best to get good pictures of Miss Mona.

Please be honest about if you think she's "breed worthy".

Croup short and sharp, Back long, neck ties in too low, sharp shoulder, doesn't break into 3's evenly, throatlatch very thick...neck and body don't balance.

Honestly, I wouldn't use her myself. Too many things need to be corrected.

Usually I consider a mare with 3 or less faults...(ones that affect performance over beauty).

I was also going to say I do not like her croup, was not sure if she was standing high in the back. Her shoulds are very straight. You would need to pick one heck of a stallion to correct her faults, sorry. Still love horses.

Okay, not exactly the responses I was hoping for, but thank you.
Any one else?
I did just realise these were taken from an angle. I had a fence on one side and a pesky Felicity on the other.

I personally dont think that her predominant croup is a fault, it shows a good jumping ability and a powerfull back end.

You asked for honesty...sorry.

IF you breed her, take her faults into consideration.

Biggest things I would want corrected is the back to be shorter so the horse will balance to the shoulder and hip areas....a cleaner tie in at the neck and chest, and the shoulder to come up to a more shallow of an angle.

Those would be the 3 things that I would be looking at a stallion for to assist in correcting the foal. I would look at the mares that he's been bred to, see what his genes are influencng the most, etc.

No, No, No! I'm not mad, if something is wrong with her, then something is wrong with her.

I've known she has a long back since our first ride, but when we got her, we wanted a horse that was well trained, but had enough "quirks" I guess you can say, that she wouldn't become an easy ride in the first week of ownership, lol. And it doesn't hurt that I can ride her in one class, and my dad who's never had a riding lesson can get on right after me and she'll be good as gold.

I'm not breeding for the "fun" of it. Right now, she's competing really well. Currently, we're second(reserve) in one wp division, right below my good friend.
I've got a great trainer who works part time as a vet tech. He's bred her before, and her first baby is now getting trained under saddle with him.

What I'm looking at most is the movement he passes on to his foals, but I'll start looking at a shorter back and cleaner neck.

You know, I have noticed that many of the TOP wp horses do not have top conformation. Nobody judges the conformation, they judge the movement. I think it is a good decision to breed to another wp horse that is strong in her weak points, if you want to breed her.

Actually, conformation IS involved. Just not at the top of the list.

Two WP horses moving the same, same in everything, Judge is to take the better conformation up.

Same in all AQHA events. All things equal, default to conformation to split. This goes for all the placing.

So the conformation CAN make or break you going into the finals or taking home a placing.
