Breaking thunder

my horse thunder is 6 yrs old buckskin quarter horse.he hasnt been rode in twoyears.because of my leg injury.now i want to start training him again.this is the list of stuff im planning on doing to him.

get the tack on him without him killing himself

get this fraidy cat used to water.

hop on him without him going into a nervous breakdown.

get him to respect me and my much older and frailer horse lightning.

i need some serious help with this gguy

have you done anything at all yet with your horse so far?
how long have you had him for?

ive gotten used to the saddle being put on him and the bit put into his mouth with peanut butter.i got him used to me touching him.ive had him for 3 years.

Was Thunder responsible for your injury?

no my horse beauty trippes and fell.she fell close to the smooth wire fence and got tangeled up in it.i had my shoulder hit the post and she landed on my leg.shes the tn walker-mustang barrel racer.im scared to do more than a lope now with her because shes so clumsy.
