I've heard of two ways..."stick" the end, which means to braid down about 12 or so inches after you end the french braid, knot it off, tuck the end of the braid back up underneath the french braid, and then sew it shut so that it lies flat and looks like, well...a stick. The other way is a lot more difficult and is called a pinwheel. You braid down about 7 inches after you stop french braiding, split the end of your braid in two, roll the braid up to the base of the french braid, sew it, and pull the two pieces of tail up into the braid so they disappear...I know that sounds really confusing, but its even harder to actually do |
