Braiding Spray

i was wondering if anyone know of how to make your own braiding spray.. cuz i dont hav time to run out to the store to buy some for the show this week comin up and i was wondering if anyone know of any way i could make my own.. cuz i dont want his bands to slip out.. so let me know if u know anything!!!!!

Just use hairspray or mousse.

i usually put a generous helping of hair gel in before i start to band Fancy's mane. Last year i started to use, don't laugh, Aqua Net hairspray on her mane and MAN does that stuff hold!!

AQUA NET - hitting the hair 80's style

That's stuff is AMAZING! if you want a super hold buy that stuff

inexpensive too - that's a bonus *lol* We used to use it for shows when I had long hair because my hair would NOT cooperate when we tried to put it up *LOL*

I used Liannes spray gel--worked like a charm!

o thanks so i can put some gel in his mane before i baid and then spray it with hair spray after?? thanks to everyone

i have the aqua net in the purple spray can....it is in my grooming bucket in my car right now so it can go back to it's home in the barn

Yup! Anything that adds a little more grip to your horse's hair will help the bands stay in better
