I braid on my own

I will braid the morning-of if I have a later start time (I will have the mane pulled the night before though). However, if we're loading the trailers at 6 am, you'll bet my horse will be bathed and braided the night before

I pay a pro braider the night before, and they are always fine in the morning and last for the day!

I don't consider myself a pro, but I am paid to braid all of the horses at my barn that we take to shows. I always try to get them done the night before, and sometimes I'm up LATE. There's no way I could braid 5 or more horses the morning of when it takes me about 45 minutes per horse.

I do my own braids all the time. I do them the day of and RE-DUE them every class. Unless my classes are close together.

But I can braids in 20 minutes tops. So I always redue my braids!

I just about *always* braid the night before (either for my own horse or as a pro) if I can. I can't compete AND braid if I'm up in the wee morning hours.

The braids are rock solid and last through a multi day show (but I also require a lycra neck hood for guaranteed braids).

But perhaps if you did a different sort of braid that takes a little longer, you wouldn't have to rebraid multiple times. Seems like a hassle and a waste of time to me.

I can't imagine redoing 40-45 hunter button braids between every class. It takes me about 30 minutes to braid and about 15 to sew/tie them up. Heck, it takes me 20 minutes just to take the braids OUT because I have to cut the yarn!

I do mine myself and will always do the night before, I just dont have time in the morning. Mine are always sewn in and then a skinny hood put on and she is stabled or in a small yard the night before.

I couldn't imagine redo the braids before every class, what a nightmare. I'd like to think my braids will stay in well all day and there would be no need for re-doing.

I always plait the night before. Sometimes i will leave rolling them up till the morning. Depends how much time i have. Otherwise i roll them up. They always have hoods on the night before which helps the plaits stay nice.

I braid the night before and put his sleazy on.

In the morning I redo any braids that need it and finish up with his tall.
