braiding instructions

could somebody post simple instructions (or a link - preferably with pictures) of how to braid a horses mane? I really don't know anything about braiding, and I'd like to know more. I'm hoping to practice on my filly (if she'll stay still long enough!). Thanks!

Straight braids, Running braids, Hunter braids, those little knobby-ball braids that the dressage horses use? The official name is escaping me right now. :P
