Denali gets horrible horrible wind tangles so I finally broke down and braided his mane. What I have heard is if you do loose braids that do not start near the root of the hair the hairs should not break or become damaged.

I could never do dressage braids on my horse anyway, her mane is way too long..lol. I made some mane bags and those have been in and working great for the last few days. www.toadstoolfarm.com is where I got the idea, but they were too expensive, so I made my own.
