braiding help

Ok, so belle and i are showing for the first time tomorrow and my mom has to figure out how to braide her mane...we got instructions of of and she is http://www.thetackbox.com/braid.htm confused about step 7. My mom doesn't understand how you are supposed to braid the yarn into that (if i knew id probly try braiding myself but im clueless...lol) and I was wonderiing if any of yu could help us with that...Thanks in advance!

Okay... imagine that you've got the three chunks of hair, and you've braided halfway or so....take the middle chunk, and sort of lift it out of the way for a second... take the yarn and fold it in half, so you have two dangly ends (the middle laying across your index finger)

Take that top part that is on your finger and set it under the middle chunk, so that the dangly ends lay down along each of the side chunks. Now, start braiding again like normal. Basically this step is just getting that yarn braided in with the rest of the hair, so that when you get to the end, it's secure and wont' fall out.
