Braiding... HELP!

we use the waffle one on our pony, for pretty much everything, she has a real long mane, and we dont wanna cut it, adn that keeps it out of the way real nice

yea, but hey at fun shows you can do whatever you want, no probs i understand and ill keep my eyes out for some wacky braids.

can anyone describe how to do any of these? like the way I would do it is grab a two-inch section of hair, braid, band at the bottom, fold twice and band in the middle again for small knob-like braids. you can wrap ribbon around them as well for a decorative look.
