What kind of rope is it?? I'm not familiar with paracord. I've spliced three strand nylon, and also the marine or yacht rope (eye splice and end splice). I'll go look for the website and be back.

Ok...what kind of braid do you want? Like this? -

It shows adding a ring at the top of the braid.

To end it on your panic snap, you do this -

paracord is the cord for like parachutes and such. Breaks easily, frays easily.

There are books out there for braiding tack.....let me see if I can find it.

This will give you directions to splice just about any kind of rope you want. I found that the instructions were very clear. The first eye splice I did took me 45 minutes! The second two took me 15 minutes total. I did step one on both, moved on to step two with both and so on. I was using the 1/2 inch double braided rope.

I used this splice when I made swings for my kids. I love learning new things! I teach myself how to do it, then teach MY hubby! (He is always impressed, too!!)
