Braided reins and halter w/lead

As some of you know I braid custom tack out of parachute cord. Anyway, besides the custom stuff, I have a few "off the rack" items from my experimentations, which I would like to find good homes for before I go away for the summer.

Paracord is very strong, rot and fade resistant, easy to care for, and has great feel.

Hot Pink and Black reins. 8'6" long (perfect for trail riding or those who like a little longer gaming rein), with a square braid that is very comfortable to hold in the hand. Snaps for convenience, they also have fancy decorative knots for a finished look. $18.

Lime green and Royal Blue Gaming reins. Unique pattern that is very flashy!! 7'6" long and 3/4" wide flat braid. These have button ends which eliminate the weight and clanking of snaps, but are so much easier to change than most other methods (ie. *%)@ Chicago screws, water ties...). However, if you still need snaps, you just get a set (with big enough eyes), and button the reins to the snaps. $13

Beautiful Cowboy halter and lead. This is probably like nothing you've ever seen before. It is like a tied rope halter in some ways, but easier to adjust and, I must say, classier looking. It's perfect for ground work and even riding in, because the nose and poll are round and have some stiffness, they can send a signal when needed, but releases well. No hardware on this to break, as the looped lead attaches directly to the halter loops, and the poll closes with a button made of beautiful decorative knots. Lead is 10 feet and has a popper and fancy knots at the end. $45

Coming soon is a brown headstall and split reins, and a pink and purple pony sized bridle.

lol! I was about to list some pink/black reins too, but then decided to give them to a friend. They are different from your's though, and the back-braid on them is awesome, thanks to you!!!

Glad it's going well for you. These had just a flat section of back braid but I added the fancy knots over top just for looks sake. I like them much better now.

Just bumping up...it would be a shame for this stuff to sit in my basement all summer while everyone is out riding (possibly in beat up faded old tack...booo! :P)

Pally's tack

As good as Pally's pictures are , they don't really do this justice! You have to feel them in your hands - very high quality! And actually less $$ than in the tack stores...

Look at what she's made for me - from left, 12 foot, very supple lead w/ leather popper, 12 foot, heavy duty lead, dog leash, and bottom -10 foot reins. I attached the snaps as those are very expensive (heavy) to ship.

She can do just about any color (can you tell my colors are GREEN?) and the shipping from Canada isn't anything!

Hey Nancy...I didn't know you posted here. Thanks for the plug

So if you look at RockHorseRanch's reins on the bottom, that is how you could add snaps to the lime & blue reins if you wanted.
