So by now everybody knows that starting in August they are filming a Brad Pitt movie here in Alberta, it's a Jesse James one. It's a western. Anyways, my dad works on the crew and they are having auditions for extra's just for crew members' families, as well as other auditions for the public as well (us crew members' family members get first preference though ).

They are really looking for girls with long hair, and freckles...that's me! LOL So me and 2 of my girl friends are going on Sunday to audition. I'm so excited!! My mom helped me make my resume (my dad has been SEE (Special Skills Extra) before riding horses in westerns so they know how to go about it) tonight and on Sunday I'm headed to Edmonton!! I really hope I get a horse riding part...they need girls for horse riding stuff and for saloon girls I hope I get a horse riding one....but I'd take a saloon girl one I guess. The $$'s good LOL

Anyways, just wondering if any other Alberta members are going??? It'd be fun to meet up!

I was supposed to go to Edmonton this weekend but Porsha cut her leg if I can find one of the other horse club members to look after it while I am gone I can go!

I heard they were looking for 600 extras!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooo there if I can make it!!!! Do you know any other details??????

If your a Female and want to give it a try ....then go!
While I am sure long hair is desirable you can still go.
Remember, if you get selected you can fake long hair by putting yours in a bun (like the ladies wore back then) or wearing a wig, fall or hair extensions.
Extras Casting will be looking for as many different types of people as possible for background people so if you have the time available to commit to a day's (or possibly more) shooting go to the Open Casting Audition.
Take a good photo of yourself with you, one that you do not get back...there are usually Talent Information Sheets available there that you fill out and attach your photo to.
We just had an Open Casting Audition here this past weekend for a Will Farrell movie that will be shot here in Alabama as well as South Carolina starting this September (a 3-4 month shoot).

YAY!!!!! I got someone to look after Porsha's leg!!!! So I am going to Edmonton to the audition!!! Its at Ramada inn hotel at 10:00am this Sunday morning!!!!!!!

They are looking for riders and well as background people!!! And it doesnt pay well only $9.00 an hour LOL Oh well I would pay them to be in it!!!!

I have never done this before does anyone know if I need a resume like on my riding skills or anything??? And Sandra says a I need a pic, well what kind I only have fun ones I took myself no good ones!!!!! Should I bring one of me on a horse???????? I need tips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
