IM Penicillin will leave a knot. Sounds like he's been having way too much fun while you were gone!

He never got Penicilling IM though...They tried him with an IV Penicillin(different concentration or something I guess...) but because he is so young and wasn't handled nearly enough his first month it wasn't happening so he was put on Fiona's SMZs.

But his attitude is great. He likes to say hi, but he still gets a little unsure. But I can kiss his nose and rub his face and pat his neck and scratch his withers. But then he starts getting a little nervous and he takes a step back, but that's it.

I forgot how uber handsome he was! LOL

Here are some pics. I've called the vet and I'm just waiting for her to call me back so I can give her an update and hear what she thinks.

I talked to the vet while I was at work and showed her the pics.

She told me that's how it's going to be and there's nothing they can really do about it since he uses his mouth all the time.

And then she gave me the whole deal with him saying he has ample blood flow on both sides of the tear so he's ok there. And that she wants to wait 6 months before doing the surgery. She wants him to grow into it and see how it looks because it's possible he might not even need a surgery, or he'll just need a little touch up.

So he won't get either surgery until early next spring. But she did say if he starts getting too rowdy and studish we can do it earlier...but I'm going to do my best with not letting that happen.
