Boys are so confusing!

Well I'm 17 and have never done any serious dating...pretty much rejected them and just stuck with horses.

This one Boy has liked me since last year. I liked him at first then thought he was an idiot.

He still likes me, and I talked to my girl friends and they like him also and think we would be a cute couple together. So I started talking with him this year, we even have a class together and we are in the same group at lunch. He holds my hand, he flirts with me and shows all the signs of liking me. He has even told me time and time again that he likes me. At one point over the summer he kind of asked me out but I bolted with "I'm to busy." Now I'm ready to have a relationship.

We talked, I think its best to be straight up and not cut corners. He still likes me alot and he does want to date me. I want to date him also and told him that I like him back, which he was shocked by because apparently I confused him so much he didnt know what to do. But now everything is out in the open, and its all good. So whats the problem? He wont ask me out. I asked him...so whats the deal? He told me, I like you and I want to date you just not now.
Uhm run that by me one more time Captain?

I said "Look thats fine, we dont have to date, we can just be friends."
He replied.
"Look you got to trust me on this, I really want to date you, just not now."

Apparently he wants to take things sloow...but seriously, I've known him for a long time...he's liked me for a long time, we practically already act like a couple and he wants to take it at a Snails Pace? We could still date and take things slow....with out anything serious.

i hear ya girl!

at lunch one day my friend brought up goin to homecoming. she asked me and her cousin (who's a dude lol) if we were goin (not as a couple, just goin). he said he didnt kno. and i said "no.. probbaly not." then my friend asked "what if someone asked you." i said "depends on who asks." she said her cousin raised his eyebrows like he was interested in askin and stuff. so we speculated that he liked me. she said he liked me back in MS or 9th grade (she cant remember haha). she said we'd make a cute couple too..... haha and since that convo, he seems weird around me. we kno each other, but not that well. its like hes avoiding me (we only have lunch together, and the 3 of us go down the same hall to our last class after lunch). anywho, so then yesterday after school my friend saw him exchange #'s with this other chick (me and my friend dont like her.. i think shes a snob and more haha).

so im like "***?? does he like me or not?"

she's gonna talk to him on monday haha all i wanna kno right now is if he likes me or not. i dont care if he does or doesnt. if he does, cool. if he doesnt have to guts to ask me to homecoming, i will haha done it before (got shot down lol), aint afraid to do it if i kno he likes me lol if he doesnt like me, fine, whatever. i got mah horse!!! haha

yep they're very confusing! I don't understand your boy!!! he's VERY confusing! he likes you for about 1 year then when you decide you want to start dating him he says no?! strange!!

in May this year i went out with someone from school for about a month. but he dumped me and I got a lot of reasons why, one was he never loved me, another was he likes being single - but a couple of weeks later he had a girlfriend!!!

Not long ago we were talking through emails and he sent me a long and sweet one saying that he hasn't stopped thinking about me and realises from the bottom of his heart he really does love me and wants to get back together. I said no.

Then just recently, in my eyes, it seemed like he was flirting with his ex girlfriend which, for some reason, made me jealous?!?! anyway it turns out he actually still loves me! and yesterday he asked me out AGAIN! but i just felt that there isn't anything strong enough between us so i said no. I honestly don't know what to do about him, and he can be quite sweet sometimes!

ARGH! boys are sooo confusing, one minute they dump you, the next they want to go back out with you!!!

OH believe me boys are beyond confusing. I'm 17, and I've been dating "frequently" since 6th grade (not something I'm proud of.) And quite frankly I was just about to give up on guys (at least till I was like 20) then this guy came along, and I've been swept off my feet. But anyways, I think he truely does like you, but he isn't ready right now, and if you like him enough you'll respect his choice, and wait for him.

I agree completely. Respect his decision. At least you know he's not some too eager h**** guy.

No offence, but you kept on turnin' him down and now that he's turned you down.. you're confused? lol! This is what you have been doing to him all along. If you ask me, you are the one who's being confusing.
