| Senior Member | Boy problem.... not about me though....
Okay so i always ignore boy problem threads but i have a delema(sp).... I have a 12 year old brother who's name for this will be "Chris".. okay? good... now one of my best friends names is "jen" (these are not their real names)... so anyways "jen" is 16 and "Chris" is 12... and "chris" has a major crush on "jen", what is too much of an age gap... and what do i do??? as far as i know "jen" is not interested in "chris" but i really dont know what to do... because "chris" has a really bad crush.... i dont know what to do and any help would be great!!

personally when i was 16 i had no interest in a 12 year old! i think he just has to deal this one out himself he will have many more heartbreaks in the future! just explain to him in a nice way that jen is much older and more mature and looking for different things in a guy. That doesnt mean that your not attractive or a nice good guy! Explain to him to get involved with girls in his class or his own age!!

being a boy and being 12 he is starting to get into his "boyish ways

I agree, he will grow out of it. When I was younger (13 or 14) I had crushes on my brother's friends off and on. They are all 2-3 years older than me, so of course they paid no attention to me. I grew out of it when I was 15 or so. But 'Chris' will defiantly grow out of it eventually as long as 'Jen' doesn't lead him on, which I'm sure she probably isn't.
