so i just got this new bf but he is hard to talk to because he likes football and i dont know anything about football so i dont know wjat to talk to him about and im afraid that he might brake up with me but i really like him

Well if you dont know anything about football, an easy way to make a good conversation is for you to ask him about it. That way it will make him happy because it shows that you are taking an interest in what he likes to do and you will learn more about his sport also

Therefore making future conversations easier when he talks about his football practise or w/e lol anyways hope that helped

I agree. Guys, whether the realize it or not, like to talk, especially when they're talking about something they love, to someone important (i.e. you) So yeah, ask him about it, or even read up on it, go to his games and pay attention to what people say about it! You'll learn. Good luck!

awww babe....hes not gonna u guys are soooo adorable with eachother...not going to lie and just because he likes somthing you dont doesnt mean hes going to dump you. i know that hes not going to break uo with me because he likes football and i dont but we have nothing to talk about is wat i mean because we like to totally different things.

I have something to add. You say that you all don't have anything to talk about. Weeell, go to his football games, yes. BUT in return he has to go to watch a show you go to or something like that. That way, when he asks YOU questions, you'll realize that he's in the same boat you are.

Talk about anything and everything ahaha... just make conv. def. ask him to teach you about football or something and he'll probably be interested to learn a little bit about horses ... most of my friends (guy friends included) aren't into horses ... but man we find lots to talk about

... avoid yes/no questions too

they are dead ends to convs.
