He is so great because he learned from the horses he watched and learned to 'talk' to them the way horses comunitcate with each other. Like I said, I found him on accident

| Full Member | HAHA! That's awesome. That name sounds familiar. I haven't read it in like 10 years. Haha. But I think I might have to buy me a NEW copy & brush back up on my Monty skills.

Hello shepherd406. We all know that horses have learned to tolerate our doings, and thats not bonding. Most times, it occurs without us indivduals really knowing on when it had taken place. In some ways it better to recieve this surprise in this manner, because it only tells us our real desire didn't hinder or get in the way of our efforts with them. The horse is the only one that can or must decide and accept your leadership & directions etc where much later they may surrender their special gift. Our focus should always be on first attaining then maintaining the horse's respect, which will lead to an emotional bonding but in time. It requires the human indivdual to be clear and consistent, patience, but firm with always looking to refine and gain more effective ways to reach and keep their attention plus maintaining the control over the horse. I hope this insight helps. |
