Ok, it's really sinking in now!
10 days till I fly out for the U.S!

I haven't even packed properly yet. I HAVE to do that today or Mum's going to get cranky!

I have sooooo much stuff to take. I'm packing mostly winter stuff and all my shoes, then Mum is going to send my summer clothes a little later.

My roommate is cool. We like pretty much the same things and have the same political/religious leanings too so we should get along great. Hopefully we do!...

So christmas was a good day.

Granma and poppi came over.Mum was working until 3pm so we had christmas lunch/dinner. We made turkey and roast beef, roast potatoes and pumpkin, veggies and trifle and pudding for dessert!! yummmmo.

Tomorrow I have my dads side of the family for christmas. We've a huge feast planned!

and my cousin, who is a member here, is giving Viktor a massage(she's trained to do so) i'll have to try and get some photos.

Found out my dorm assignment yesterday!

I'm staying in Governor's Hall which is where I wanted! its sooo cute!



And I found out my roommate too. Her name is Rebecca, the same as my sisters! Haven't really had the chance to talk to her yet, but she seems pretty ok so far!

I'm all set for my trip now. Got my cash passport and tickets on Friday.

So Mum has given me her flu. Yuck, my throat is sooo sore and i'm all achey. But I'm dosed up on cold medicine which makes it a little bit better.

I got my passport back with my Visa in it. haha worst photo ever! LOL It always surprises me when they let me into the country when my visa photo makes me look like a sadistic murderer! haha

And I got some glove yesterday. thermal wool ones. they're warm and comfy.

No TB for me!(and I mean TB as in Tuberculosis not a thoroughbred)

Suuuuuch a hassle getting the tests done. I had to go to hospital twice, one to get the test and 2 days later to get results.

They all kept asking me what I needed it for. They simply don't do TB tests in Australia unless you are an immigrant.

And I got my Visa approved. spent the day in the city for that.
Had the interview. I had forgotten how tight security is at the Consulate,...
