I got home from work yesterday, and like always i got changed and made my way down to visit the horses. And ****** me, there stands Charlie with yet ANOTHER cut on his off hind His leg from fetlock to hock was blown up like a balloon, i was NOT amuzed i can tell you!
So i grabbed a halter and dragged him to the shed to hose and treat his leg. Its the strangest cut/scrape ever, there is one prominant cut just below his hock on the outside of his leg, then another, what looks like a scrape...

And i had SO much fun! I havnt laughed that much in...AGES! I had such a ball, its the first time iv ridden bareback propperly in years!
Took me a while to get the hang of it, but finally managed to master it enough to trot and even CANTER some circles! i was so stoked!
Charlie was so good for putting up with me, i lost it a few times and ended up bumping around like a learner, haha, he was awesome! And he didnt even buck in the canter like i was expecting him to do, haha!

I had such a great ride this morning. Iv finally started riding again, and the last few rides have been abit stink, trying to adjust and get my muscles working right again. But this morning was great i had a great time, and he went really well. Im really stoked.

Yesterday was a crappy ride, nothing seemed to click or go right, and i felt like i spent the whole ride fighting to get him to listen, then i had a bad day at work, which really didnt help, i was close to tears when i got...

I am SO stoked! I finally managed to track down some racing videos of Charlie! I took some time, and a bunch of emails, but im so excited!
There are only 2, and its going to cost me $47 in total, but how exciting!
I will deffinatly post the on here once they arrive
