I rode Blue for a short time last night. She was definitely spitting a bit of fire! After a while of working on what I needed her to work on, I took her out of the ring and cantered her around the field to let some energy out. She seemed to appreciate having a change in scenery as well as the chance to get the kinks out.

Ty's doing well...and moreover he has been a good boy about keeping his bell boots on. Now instead of looking for a white sock, I find myself looking for purple bell...

I feel as though I have so much to write about now that I'm working three horses. Ah well, just means there are more pictures to share!

Ty gets on his new shoes today. I'm really hoping he'll improve with them as they are going to cost me an arm and a leg. It's going to be a serious ouch to the piggy bank for me, but in my mind his comfort is worth my last penny as long as I can keep it up.

He looks good aside from the pain. I take him in...

Now that college is approaching quickly I seem to ironically be inundated with opportunity (not that that is a bad thing).

Yesterday I went out to the barn with my sister and our mutual friend to work Blue in the outdoor arena. A boarder was riding her horse in there as well. When my friend called my name and told me my boyfriend had texted me, the lady riding her horse recognized my name and asked if I was the one who had sent out an e-mail awhile back looking for a leasing...

Before heading off to bed last night, I turned out the tv. The weather man was calling for a 60% chance of severe thunderstorms in the afternoon...so of course I had to change around my plans for today.

I had already commited to subbing for therapuetic riding at 9:00. As I wasn't sure how long they would need me for, I decided to set my alarm so I would be out working Blue at 7:30.

Today I went for the trail ride that I discussed last entry. So much fun!

Blue was such a cutie. She definitely has a "go" button to her, but it's very controllable. Throughout the entire 2 hours, she was a dollbaby.

But oh my goodness were we both tired! I haven't ridden in nearly a year and Blue isn't in shape yet; this was bootcamp. Although I'm sore, I'm happy about it (). It's really nice getting back into shape again. I'm very excited to start...
