Yesterday I went out to the barn with my friends and sister before I had to leave to go back to college (it was fall break).

I first lunged him and he was very well behaved...

And then I rode him. Oh my, was incredibly ornery to begin with! It was his second ride back after a year off, so I wasn't expecting much. Luckily he slowly settled down to be more relaxed as the ride went on. I did use a running martingale on him to temporarily help with the head tossing. I'm...

Tomorrow I'll be driving back home with a couple of friends for fall break; I am so excited.

I'm having the vet come out to recheck Ty's progress on Thursday mid-afternoon. My fingers are crossed that things will go well.
