My horse (Julian) is a 3 year old Warmblood. About a week ago my trainer mentioned he thought Julian looked a bit wormy so I gave him his scheduled dewormer - though not all of it made it in his mouth. A couple days later he began having some mild diarrhea. It's been 5 days now since the loose stools started and it's still there. He also still looks a bit bloated in the stomach area and he seems to be lacking energy. Should I be worried more than I already am? Or should I wait till the end of the week in the hopes that he feels better? Thanks so much in advance!! -Juliet |

Probios I always give when I give wormer and for a few days after. The runs can mean a few different things. I suggest hauling him in for 2 reasons. Pull fec he might still have a worm load and your vet may want to tube him. electrolytes I would also give as run can cause dehydration. Good luck better to be safe then sorry.
