Smile BLM Mustang Mare I am interested in

This is a BLM mustang mare that a local farm purchased as a "sales horse", that new rule where any horse over the age of 11 or who has not been adopted with three tries can be sold to whoever wants for a set price.

The farm bought some 20 mares and has been re-homing them to approved homes. This is one of the mares they have left and I really like the looks of her. I think she is the better looking of the ones they have left, but I still wanted opinions on her. I know the picture is not the best, but hopefully I can arrange to go visit and get a few better ones over the weekend.

She is 11-years-old, and has spent 6 years in a long term BLM holding facility. So while she is not trained, she is no longer wild any more. She is quite possibly in foal to a registered Quarter Horse stallion (http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/dpf+scotch+n+water). I don't exactly approved of that to be honest, but too late to do anything about it now.

She is 14.3 hands or so, and according to the farm owner she is a bay dun (can't see the line down her back in the picture of course ) minimal overo pinto.

So, tell me what you think of her.

I'm not that good at critqueing(sp). I do think she has a sweet face but that means little as far as riding goes

What are your plans for her?

I would be interested in using her as a pleasure/trail horse, certification with the ATHA, and possibly for competing in NATRC Competitive Trail Rides.

she looks nice...would probably make a very nice little trail horse...however, good training makes a good horse

I think she looks positivley fantastic (and I mean that seriously). She has such good bone, really nice looking feet, and has a good look for what you want. If you can take a project, get her!

I think she is nice. She has good bone, nice feet and overall sturdy. Her head is the only thing I don't care for but since she is a mustang I'm not knocking it. I'm a picky when it comes to horse heads.lol my flaw not the horses. I think she will make a nice trail horse. Good luck.
