LOL, you really think she will go that long? I guess now it doesn't matter so much, having that shelter up is a HUGE weight off my chest!

I told David to bring home two more bales of straw, and he can help me lower the supports tomorrow.

Thanks for helping put it up

Still no baby for Blazer. She is just standing out there, eating away at the hay bale, blowing up like a ballon and looking really PO'ed at the world. When ever she moves to walk (and is never very fast either, lol) the ponies GET OUT OF THE WAY. I mean, she doesn't even pin her ears, but they MOVE IT NOW. Except Pumpkin. He runs circles around her, ha ha!

I seperate them at night, but let them run together during the day.

Dang it, Blaze, I bought you a garage, what more do you want? I want my baby!

UPDATE:

(Although I don't know if anyone other than me cares any more, lol!)

Blaze ate this morning, but has not touched the bale all day. She is pacing, she acts exhausted. Her tail is constantly lifted. I can see her bag when she walks away from me, and she is licking and chewing and her lips are quivering.

Even though she has been really big for sometime, she has never acted uncomfortable like this before. She almost drags her feet, it is like she is too tired to even walk around, but she keeps pacing.

Her belly has changed through the course of the day. It is... more compact? That is the only way that I can describe it. The bulk of it is lower, and yet farther back... almost triangle shaped. I saw a LOT of foal movement. When she walks and when the foal kicks, her whole hind end jiggles. There is a big hollow in front of her hip.

She acts like she wants my company, and yet she doesn't want me to touch her. She has not wanted her belly touched for quite sometime, but has still wanted nose kisses and snuggles, and neck and ear rubs. Now she comes over for a second, and then walks away.

I do have pics, but it is going to take me awhile to upload them. The USB ports on my desktop stopped working, so I have to upload the pics to my 12 year old laptop, resize them, unhook the internet from this computer, hook it up to that one, and upload from there. It is a pain, so please bear with me!

This might be a false alarm, or just the beggining of bigger things to come, but tonight might be the night!

I am going to DIE if Blaze foals before Yankee, if you guys don't kill me first, lol!

Sounds awfully familar to me! My girl was acting very similar and then had Rocky, the world's cutest buckskin colt ever! However, since you are anixous and totally paying attention to her she won't have it! Belle had what looked like honey on her teats about 3-4 hours or so before she foaled, but she was maiden so who knows! Go Blazer,

Whata we want?

We want a baby!

(Sorry my former cheerleader came out )

And so is Pumpkin. I'll have to upload the pictures of him from yesterday, eating the mule
