Well... baby looks dropped from the side view, but not really from the behind view yet. Also, it looks that her teats still point towards each other? Vulva does look pretty ready though. Based on these I would say 2 days or so.

Such a pretty girl! I can't wait! *dances*

I have to disagree there, lol.

19th of March, a month ago...

Today....

That looks like a BIG difference in width to me!

And I guess I phrased the nipples thing wrong, lol. They are MORE outward than they were.

This better happen soon....

Absolutely she has changed in width from behind. Anyone who knows can tell when foal is sideways turning itself around to foaling position. She is def. ready . Her bags are filled to the line. Nips ready to pop. Don't always point outward. Depends on mare. Sometimes point out but not all the time that I've seen in mares. The baby def is in position. Her hips are sunken in and softened makin way for foal to pass. She'll have foal w/ in 1-2 after waxing usually. Just my guess. A safe and healthy. Keep us posted!!

My dang outside light burnt out last night, but I went out a bit ago and she was laying down, not flat but with her legs under her. She didn't seem to be breathing real hard or anything, I am going to check one more time and see what, if anything, is happening...

Well sleep for you and mama until final moment arrives. Sounds close with the sweating and dampness that could be pre-labour so I've seen. It's the uterine contraction allowing foal to turn from on his back around and up into postion. That's what looked like to me from the 2 diff pictures you showed from behind! Well sweet dreams .....
