No baby, lol. I have gotten a couple of PM's from concerned members wanting to know WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!

Thanks, all of you, for caring

Blaze appears to be doing fine. She is massively prego, yes, but she is eating, she is drinking, she is grumpy, lol, and the foal is still moving.

I actually stood and watched her for about ten minutes waiting to see foal movement three seperate times today... I was just starting to get a little nervous when WHAMO! Momma got the snot kicked outta her...

Her bag actually seems a little smaller than yesterday, and.... I actually got a pic of it!

Here are a couple of body shots...

(yeah, I know, the yard looks WORSE, but we are making progress. THE SNOW IS GONE! It has to get worse to get better, right? The front yard looks amazing and we have started clearing the paddock area. Trees are coming down! Then it will be time to remove the rest of the junk. I think we are gonna make some cash off of all the scrap metal, lol!)

I can see a big difference in her topline, and that butt looks pathetic compared to what it used too... I can't believe how flat it is...

I did notice that she felt a little sweaty between her front legs. However, it got warmer here suddenly, and I checked the boys and they felt a little hot too. I think it is just a combo of the warmer temps and winter coat, but we will be bedding the shelter down extra thick tonight just in case.

She was laying down yesterday, and David was like, "Look, LOOK! She's laying down. Why is she flipping her tail??? Is she having it!?!?!?" I said, "No, sweetheart, her legs are tucked under her. When she lays out flat, let me know."

I love that man, lol.

Not and keep my head where it is, and I am rather attached to it if you get my drift

Everyone needs to remember that what handling this 15 year old mare has, it has all happened in the last five months. Rome wasn't built in a day

Wow. Her udder certainly doesn't look ready, especially not for an experienced broody. I have seen them fill up really fast, but as of now I would say you've still got a couple of days. She does, however, look REALLY dropped. So either that udder is going to fill up in a hurry or you're gonna be a grandmaw in about 2 or 3 days. :-)

I am guessing 2-3 days to a week myself. She may go quick, but I have no idea of knowing.

This was in February. You couldn't even SEE a bag, so there is some diffence.

That belly, though... makes me wonder....

First pic is a week ago, second is today...

She is standing in the exact same spot in both pics. Look at her topline and rump too....

Grandma? Eww. LOL! I have, oh, 20 years (yeah right) before that is gonna happen!

Yes I understand to get underneath is not an option on some. She has dropped. She could bag right at the end. I think 2 or 3 days too.
