Sounds like they are lucky to have you!

I am so rooting for text book births for all of us!

I have a few new pics of Blaze... She is looking like she is pretty tired. She doesn't lay down often. She has not been rolling or acting uncomfortable, but sleepy.

These were shot out my bedroom window

Ha ha ha, my goat pen looks tiny next to her! That is too funny! Of course, the goats are all 20" tall or less, but still...

Snoozing, poor tired momma

It was funny, because when I tool the first picture, I was concentrating on Blaze and didn't even notice Pumpkin laying there too, it wasn't until I went back and looked at the pictures again...

Hey, your place looks like mine. WHITE! Sure wish the 'white' would go away now!! Snow... it's beginning to be a four-letter dirty word....lol.

Your pictures are great, btw. I don't know why, but I love shots of horses laying down. Maybe because they look so peaceful and content.

He he he, thanks. I am HATING that four letter word myself. I wish it would go away. The roof of my chicken run collapsed (not the coop) from all snow. I wish it would go away! We moved in this house in the late fall, and didn't have time to clean up the "yard junk" that was already here. I hate knowing that it is out there, under the snow, hiding, waiting.....

Here is a picture for ya....silly sleepies

Grr, this chick is making me crazy!

One minute she is laying with her feet all tucked up, and then flat out, breathing heavy.... 5 minutes later I look and she is gone

LOL, she was on the other side of the house, mowwing on the hay bale.

I will be certifiable by the time this is over.

I sooooo Wish I had a cam!

Still no news on my Blazer. She is as big as all get out, but no signs of truly impending labor. I have a feeling I am going to miss the birth totally. This mare has had several foals, and did it all by herself in the past. She will probably pick a time when I am not home to *pop*.

I am actually glad that she hasn't foaled yet. It is SOOO cold here! I do have a run in shelter, but as of yet I have not been able to seperate her from the other horses. The good news is we will be getting a second shelter put up this weekend! I am soo happy. I also should get my foal blankets any day (thanks again, CountryAcres!)

It sure sounded like she'd pop at any second ..... sending up good vibes for a safe and healthy delivery!

Got my foal blankets today! WONDERUL! I am feeling much better about that.

We keep getting more and more snow dumped on us... I hope the weather is good for the next couple of days so that we can get the new shelter up.

Still eating like a champ, and getting a little more saggy in the butt... Belly still expanding. I can't believe that she would possibly get any bigger!

I am planning on getting photos tomorrow, and will ge them posted.

Still no baby for Blaze. I meant to get out and take some pictures today, but it was raining buckets and completely nasty out.

Nobody has posted to my thread for awhile, lol, but I am going to keep it going just for the sake of it. Someday I can take a look back at it and remember all of my anxiety!

If the weather is at all decent tomorrow, I will have some new pictures of the moose. I had to laugh because one of the girls that works nearby got a look at her today as she drove by... exclaimed to my father-in-law about how huge she was! Then she felt that I needed to know that when she got wax in her nipples she was about ready to go... I rolled my eyes when David, my fiance, relayed the message, and then explained to him that not every mare is the same, and yes, I already know the signs of impending foaling.

Have a good one guys!
