Oh, I am a watchin', lol. I just finished the semester at school today, so I will be home for the next two weeks. The turkey had better foal while I am home! I can't imagine her lasting that much longer.

Yeah, Aussiesnapps, I hear yuh! Everyone I show pictures to says the same thing. One person told me to put her on a diet, lol. I calmly explained that she was in late pregnancy, and that her diet is just fine Well, except for that Parelli Ball that she ate, rofl!

how's the weather? I hope to hear that the pumpkin arrives soon. It's good to hear you have some time off. it will be great if she has it right ways so you can spend time with the foal.

have you thought of any names yet?

give us some name ideas so we can help if you want too.

I have tried to come up with names, but I am really bad about naming before I meet... My youngest daughter was six hours old before I named her! I really have no idea what to call the little bug.ger.

I am really hoping that she foals in the next day or two, so that I can be around for the first couple of weeks....

Weather is actually behaving pretty well. We haven't had any snow in awhile, it is warming up and melting... It was raining a bit this morning, but the last three days at least have been sunny and beautiful... This is the time of year when I really get itching to head outside and get stuff done, but there is still enough snow that it isn't practical. We may start working on expanding the paddock in the next couple of days though, it has melted enough for that I believe.

Urgh, this waiting is enough to make anyone crazy...

Well, today Blaze barely ate a thing. When we brought the bale in, the other horses got excited and started nickering, and Blaze didn't even trouble herself to walk around the house. Not like her at all. She ate for maybe 15 minutes and then left the rest to the ponies. We have the lights on out there, and right now we have a lot of pacing, kicking at her belly and nipping at her sides. We just put down another full bale of straw, so it is nice and thick if anything happens tonight. I am really scared!

Probably worked up about nothing, but sitting here, watching her pace... I am just terrified!

Don't forget to run in for a quick potty call. You just may come out to an extra four legs on the ground. Good vibes coming your way for a healthy foaling hopefully tonight.

Oh you poor thing I was scared too. Piglet is our first foal so we were new at the whole thing. I'm going to say a prayer for you and Blaze. With any luck you'll wake up to a beautiful foal and all will be worry free. I was amazed at how great the birth process is and what an extraordinary thing centuries of instinct actually is. Sending prayers your way!

We did leave the house for a bit (Friday night and I needed a "relaxer" ) No baby yet but Blaze has been in the shelter and rolling (covered with that nice fresh straw we put down, lol.) I am heading to bed now, but maybe there will be a baby in the morning!

Two months ago I was sure this girl was going to foal, so I am trying to not get too freaked out.... It is not working....
