| Senior Member+ | I haven't made up my mind what were are going to do with the foal for exactly that reason (I think it will be very marketable.) Even knowing nothing about Blaze, knowing the pedigree of the stallion tells me a lot of what this baby could be. We may keep it, we may sell it. You never know! I do have to admit that I am breeding my Mini mare this year. She is grade, but, actually, somewhere, she is registered There is a particular Haflinger stud that shows some minimal splash charactereistics that I am very tempted to breed Blaze to. He is registered. It just so goes against everything I preach, I feel like such a hypocrite for even thinking it! Kristina

I don't know if you know this or not, but I just wanted to comment that a foal out of Blaze by a registered pure Welsh would be registerable with a pretty marketable registry. If the foal was cute enough (of course it would be as nicely refined as she is and what Welshies throw) it could be highly marketable and I bet you personally would LOVE the cross. I know of no less than 5 AWESOME Welsh stallions that are very likely to be homozygous splash. (A Halfy with splash characterisitics, particularly if it ended up being a loud HZ type, could be a very fun horse.) ACC |

| Senior Member+ | I didn't know that it would be registerable Even though I have absolutely no history on Blaze's parentage, it would still be registerable? Kristina

Yes... as long as one parent is registered pure Welsh, you can register the foal. Same with Arabians. Want to see a GORGEOUS obvious splash that could ALSO be registered with a VERY good registry?: http://khartoonkhlassic.com/ and his remarkable son: http://khartoonkhlassic.com/Pikhasso.htm Those are remarkably well bred QUALITY stalliosn that would get you a registerable foal likely with LOTS of splash.
