blanket question?

ok so everytime i go to the barn i forget to measure my horse for his blanket.
i need to tell my parents which one to order him for xmas tonight... so i cant measure him since im already home (and forgot to measure AGAIN)

hes a thoroughbred. 16HH. hes 5y/o and done growing.

what size would you recommend? for some reason i think i remember someone saying he would probably need a 78" but i dont want to get something too small or tooooooo large....

any suggestions?

heres him if it helps at all...

Ugh, I hate doing that...I always end up getting something too big. WeatherBeatas run large, so my boy's 75 is too big on him, he's a 15.2 hh Arab. But his 76 in Stateline Tack fits him like a glove. It's hard to tell, but you can always return it. I'd say 78 would sound about right.

I can tell you my narrow, 16.h+ TB mare takes about a 76.
