More information on Morro's gait as I just got it from his previous owner:

No one has been able to tell me exactly what the Pryor gait is, but here goes. The gait is the one that has been passed down to the Paso breed. The gait exhibits high knee action in front with a very slight wing to the outside
at the apex of the leg lift.

The gait is a diagonal one, i.e., the left front and right rear move simultaneously. The gait is very light, he literally floats. His back moves very little, but his feet (all four) lift high and light from the ground.

He is naturally collected and carries himself with grace and balance. His great balance allows him to do all moves with little effort.

The gait is totally natural. Genetically, the Pryor horses are ancestors of the Paso breeds. However, the Paso breeds seem to carry themselves more to the back, whereas the Pryor horses are perfectly balanced.
