Unhappy Biopsy results not good

Well, I just got a call from my vet to let me know about Khavele's uterine biopsy results, and it's not very good. Based on the results of this biopsy, the pathologist said he would give her a 10% to 15% chance of getting pregnant. However, he did say that with a mare of her age (not an older mare) and one that has had foals (as she has) if he gets results like this, he likes to take multiple biopsies (not at the same time) to verify the original results. Since a biopsy only gives you results from one spot in the uterus, it may be that just that one spot was bad, and the rest is healthier. So, if you take multiple biopsies, and they all turn out the same, then you can figure that that is the condition of the entire uterus.
I'll need to decide whether or not to have another biopsy done, so I'd like to hear from mare owners who have had poor results with a biopsy. Did subsequent biopsies show better results? Or did you just go ahead and breed your mare anyway? What could cause such an unhealthy uterus in an almost-13-year-old mare, who has had two foals, the last one in '02? Based on her age, and breeding records, what do you think are the chances that this was just one bad spot in her uterus, and the rest is better?
