Billy Cook Barrel Saddle. Opinions?

Hey guys... any opinions on this barrel saddle for sale? It's a Billy Cook - about 5 years old 15 1/2 inch seat. The lady wants $425 for it - is that reasonable? FYI - it has a small stain on the left side fender.
I'm looking at buying it - but I'm not sure whether it's a good deal or not.
Thanks for the opinions! If anyone has any pros/cons to add about this saddle - feel free!

OMG $425 is a steal for a Billy Cook! It looks like it's still in really good shape, those saddles are some of the best saddles you can get *drools* LOL

Well, depends. I found Billy Cook Saddles for around $1000 with silver brand new.

That is what the prices are lately.

The price isn't too bad, the saddle looks well cared for.......

It does look like a nice saddle. I sat in a Billy Cook this weekend at the stock show, it was very nice. That seems like a really good deal - I suppose because of the stain?

Maybe it's a "deal" because of the stain - the only thing that worries me is the woman wasn't sure whether it's a semi or full QH.
Do Billy Cook saddles have identification numbers to tell the tree size? (Like the Circle-Ys do?) Anyone know?

Do what? Never heard of that.

ANY billy cook saddle, if taken care of, will last a life time. You can take the best saddle in the world, treat it like dirt, and it will break down so fast, you wn't believe it.

I wonder if you could repair that stain. You might take it to a saddle maker, they might be able to dye the leather to get back to the original color. If it's a big deal to you, you might look into it.
