Biggest show of the season: USDF Region 2 Show

The big Annual ADA show is this weekend. Its only my 2nd dressage experience EVER. I dabbled in it earlier this spring, had no idea what to expect, so just did Intro level (3 Blues and Highpoint!!) This time we are going into Training Level as well. We are schooling 2nd/3rd level movements at home, but I want to take my time and work my way through....no reason to rush since I'm completely new to this sport. My new trainer says she wants me tested-out by the end of this summer and into 1st/2nd next year. I'm happy with those goals

We schooled Training 1 the other day for only the second time and were scored at a 65%..... if we do that well on Saturday I'll be very pleased. We've been schooling hard all week and will continue to do so right up till gametime.

Good luck? What Region 2 show is it? Waterloo, Silverwood, or Lamplight. You must tell me

I love knowing the judges before I ride. I have ridden for most of them, so I probably can give you a type on how they like their horses

You should try and qualify for Regionals

That would be fun seeing you there!

Kissit....I *believe* its Sue Hughs??? I'm not sure and I haven't ridden for any of them, so I dunno!! LOL

Good luck, not that you will need it. I am sure you will put in a respectable test.

If you are like us, if you don't have to dismount during the test, have your horse bolt or buck, or have him leave the arena, you will count the day a success

I wish you the best of luck this weekend. I wish I could come watch, I love watching dressage, but i have an ABRA show this weekend @ MSU. I cant wait to come back and see how you did this weekend. GOOD LUCK!
