Biggest Losser for your horse

I thought this might be kind of fun as well as being good for both us riders and our equine partners.

I think we can come up with some basic (by basic I mean simple exercises, no running or bicycles) exercises that we commit to doing every day and each day we increase the number by 5.

Example:

Day One: 10 situps/crunches, 10 pushups, 10 leg lifts, etc.
Day Two: would be 15 of each.

But the key is for us to collectively come up with the routine. So the exercises are ones that we can all agree with.

Whoever is interested come up ideas for exercise and a goal for yourself for weight loss for say a 30 day period. Whether it be 5 pounds, 10 pounds or more. There is no need to tell us your weight if you dont want. Just tell us what your goal is and something you will sacrifice to meet your goal.

We can spend the rest of this week getting an exercise program together. We will start next Monday and then check in every Monday and see how each of us are doing and what kind of problems we may be running into.

Any way tell me what you think. This may be just too corny.

I think it's a good idea, but I must say, increasing an exercise by 5 each day isn't really going to do much. You have to have variety in your routine so you can lose weight or gain muscle evenly on your body.
Instead of say doing crunches/pushups each day and increasing it by 5...do other exercises as well such as squats or dips or jumprope...just something to vary it a bit
You also need days to 'relax' with a lighter workout and at least one day off a week to let your body rest and rebuild itself!
