Big Boots

I just got boots from Sheplers, Ariat Gem Babies (: I love them, but they're about half a size too big! I can't afford to send them back and forth to America in order to get an exchange, so I'm going to make do with them. Is there any way I can shrink them? Or make my foot fit them better? Any suggestions?

wear extra socks? lol dunno as far as tall riding boots you can have them taken in. but as for Ariat Gem Babies perhaps you can ask at the local shoe repair they may have a solution even if its putting something in the toe of the shoe so your feet don't slide. These solutions shouldn't cost too much. Well, at least not more than shipping back and forth to America.

buy some sticky insoles, or another set of insoles. By adding another pair of insoles, you will snug the boot up a bit. However, gem babys are leather and they will stretch.

You may want to re consider sending them back, or doing a trade with someone.
