Vetrolin Shine is something I've used in the past and has natural coat conditioners and more of a natural feel than Showsheen. I like the idea of mixing conditioner with the Showsheen. I must try that! My goal is to use up all our horsey products, I have about 2-3 different brands of shampoo, and try the Eqyuss line which looks like they are superior products plus safe to use for humans !

Pepi Works like a charm.

I love it, but make sure you take a soft rag and wipe off your horse right before you go in the ring. I find it attracts abit of dust

I like Pepi, it smells good! I spray it on a clean brush and apply it that way so it's not so greasy. I like Cowboy Magic and the Egyss products too!

Hate Showsheen! It's got silicone in it, which is bad for the coat! It's a great detangler, though!

What I love is Xtreme Sheen! It's all natural, non slippery- so you can put a saddle over it- it's concentrated- for under $20 you can make over a gallon and a half of spray- and it lasts up to a week! It even holds up in light rain!

I have yet to see a product marketed towards shine that does not contain silicon. So any of these products need to be used with care.

I've used a lot of shine products and my favorite hands down is show sheen. IMO that provides the most amount of shine.
