Best Black and White Natural Horse Photogragh Contest!!!

(please read all of it before posting your pic)

What I mean by Natural is that there is no people/person intervention invloved (no tack, no rider, no person in picture)

This way, the photograph will be more about the essence of the horse and it's natural beauty

EDIT: halter are allowed

Catagories:

Portrait- The horse head, shows personality or just plain beauty of the horse

Artistic- Anything that has an artistic value to it: like high contrast value, cool lighting, taken from a cool angle etc. (can be photoshoped but not to the point where it is oviously photoshoped and doesn't look normal )

Closeup- Any Closeup of a horse that shows detail, texture etc. Might be a close up of an eye of of a body part. Please try to seperate Artistic from Closeup. If it become too confusing, I might combine them.

Action- Shows the natural beauty and strength of the horse---freedom. Horse must be moving (hence the title of the catagoire hehe) Oh yah, can be one horse or a group shot.

Horse/Animal Interaction- Any horse group shot or horse and other animal. It must show interaction (not just two horses grazing in a feild )

"Horse"- A shot of a single horse, must show most or all of the whole body. Only resort to this catagorie if you don't think it is artistic

Other- Any Horse photo like a pic of horses grazing or whatever

Rules

~ The photograph can be photoshoped to be black and white if original image is color. It can be photoshoped in Artisic, but in any other catagorie, you may not photoshop (other than the above reason for changing it to B+W)

~ Remeber NO PEOPLE!!! That sounds kind of mean, sorry

~ You must be the photographer

~ No internet pics

~ Please state what catagorie your picture is in, please keep everything to one post... if you need to... go back and edit it

~One photo per catagorie

~ Have fun!!!

I will judge them based on quality of photograph (contrast, focus, subject etc.) I will pick around 3-5 photos for each catagorie and put them into a poll. I will jugde for best overall photo

There will be a prize!! But only a prize for the "best overall photo". That will be juged by me. Everything else will be put up into polls. I am not sure what the prize is right now, if anyone has an idea, please PM me

Will end June 30th, there can be exceptions though

Hope the catagories and rules arn't too confuzzling tehe
