Best helmet for hot weather ?

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone had a helmet that they prefer for riding when its hot out. I know they are all hot, but just wondering if there are any that seem more ventilated then others? Wishful thinking on my part - I'm sure

Thanks!

Sara

Any plastic ones would be good. Troxel makes some or international does too. they are very lght and have holes in the top for ventilation. they don't fit as nice as velvet though.

Last week I brought a Dublin onyx which is pretty good (the most well ventalated I've used any way). It's well fitting and it was the cheapest on in the store.

Tipperary. Do it. Honestly, there are some that are somewhat cheaper, but it gets resounding praise from everyone who uses it (provided they fitted it properly to their head). It's slightly funky looking, but you'll forget you're wearing it and it's designed to provide a lot of protection from impact.

When I tried on the Tipperary it instantly gave me a headache. Went up one size and it was too loose. My head is just the wrong shape for them, which is unfortunate as I love their look and the lower back coverage.

I just had a friend tell me about the Tipperary. She loves hers and says she never feels hot in it!

I have to go try one on!
