OCt 11 08 . Got her the night before the mean man was picking up at camelot . was the heighest and skinniest horse there. she was the first one i picked out out of the 4 i personally ended up bringing home.

didnt know untill now after monthhhhss of research to find out who she was as she wouldent let us read her tatoo
shes 17 y.o and was bred 10 times and raced 4times.


Thanksgiving 08 she looks so horrible i get so upset when i look back at how she must have felt

Oops I forgot to post pics of my rescue pony. We named him Kroger because he needed groceries so badly. He still had long hair and you really can't get the full feel for how bad he was in the pic because of his long hair. If we would not have got him out of there I feel he only had days left to live. He also was covered in lice, caked on manure and his mane, tail and belly was full of burrs. He turned 2 on 07-07-09 he was born on 07-07-07 I got him in April 09. He still has a long way to go but he is getting there.

OH I love these threads! ok here is my girl the first day we brought her home. You really can't see how bad she looked in these. This wouldn't let me make a direct link so you will go through a few steps befor you see the pictures.

PinkJumper- I think it's the angle and the shaddows that make it look "bad". Although there was quite a dip between his last rib and his stomache at the time. As you can tell, he's fine now, though!

Here's 'Curly' our first week, listless with I.R/Cushings and horrid feet.. SHe looks fat, but she's NOT... that is Wolly Mamoth coat!!



A few months later after meds and diet had been stablized


Once exercise was added and in full health again
