I know as well as you do, that there is no way that you are letting go of that mare now... I wonder if your hubby realizes it yet?

What a difference! Great job! There seems to be a huge lice problem this year in Michigan. In my long years of horse ownership I have never had a horse with lice until this year. Luckily I caught it before she lost all her hair.

AWWWWWWWW I love her!! Shes so pretty!! The fly mask you have 0n her is like the one I had for Shaatier except his was black!! The man I bought him from came by his stall one day looked at Shaatier shook his head and said ................You relize hes a boy horse right!!!
Of corse to his defense he had that on plus a braided mane and tail!!
The things we do to our beloved horses!! Good thing they can't talk!!!

Don't think he does But you are prolly right. She actually pushed Cin away from her grain today when I went to pull her out to grain her!! Of all the horses for her to dominate I never would have expected it to be Cin!!

It just amazes me how bad she had them. I've seen lice on other rescues but nothing compared to the infestation she had bay far!

Glad you were able to catch it eary though, and thankfully treating a horse for lice is not nearly as pricey as treating a human!!
