Beaded browbands...

Does anyone on here make beaded browbands for a fairly reasonable price?

hey.
I make beaded browbands.
you can see some examples on my website www.elegantequines.net

i made up 9 beaded browbands, 1 decorative browband and two ribbon browbands tonight! must be getting to bed lol.

i think postage to the US from aus is about $9-10 i would have to double check.
price will be Depending on what colours etc you would like.

probably about $10-$20 for one browband.

EE - your beaded browbands are beautiful I just want to point out though, that if you compete in dressage here in the U.S.A, the browbands must have leather backings to be legal in the show ring.

I really do like yours, they are stunning!

thanks very much.

I do make "decorative" browbands. some of which are beads stitched onto leather bands. not really sure what hunter_eq is after. thanks for pointing that out though. i will make sure i don't sell them as dressage browbands in the USA.

I would actually love to get one of your ribbon browbands for eventing! I might actually order 2.

1 Red and black for sure

and for me - well - I am all over the place with my colors for eventing...lol.

How much do you charge in U.S fund for one?

I have competed with a beaded browband like that in dressage. Everyone loved it. I don't see anything in the USEF rules about having a leather backing.

Maybe you are correct? I don't have a rule book because I don't do USDF shows - just my nice and comphy Glass-Ed Shows here in Michigan.

I guess the rules are new?

When I was at a clinic hosted by a Prix Saint George competator Sarah Hughes, there were 2 riders using the same browbands and Sarah made a strong point of telling people that they are not legal in the dressage ring.

I also brought a bunch of my browbands to Millbrook Tack And Trailer in Grand Rapids Michigan and the Manager of the English Department told me that the browbands with no leather backing are no longer legal in the dressage ring - so she wouldn't buy the ones I made without. But she wanted to buy the browbands that I made with the leather backing.

So I've just always assumed that the browbands without leather backings were not legal after what I was told.

Maybe we are wrong? Maybe that is just for USDF??? I dunno?

It really depends on what you want.

a plain satin ribbon browband without rosettes $13 USD
a plain satin ribbon browband with rosettes $30 USD

a crystal features satin ribbon browband without rosettes $27 USD
a crystal features satin ribbon browband with rosettes $45 USD

*crystal features = swarovoski crystals across the band.

a diamonte browband with rosettes $54 USD
*diamonte= crystal banding on the browband. (also known here as bling browbands).

i can always do a discount if you order more then one
