bates or colligate

which one should I buy.. used..
both around the same price, both colligate, both are 17"
does one have a longer flap than the other.
opinions!!!

I've never owned a bates, but I had a collegiate (sp?) for years and I loved it. Held up GREAT, also.

Is this a dressage saddle? I would say Bates.

Do you have pictures of them? What are you planning on doing with the saddle? Do they both fit you and your horse?

If both are around the same price you would want to look at the Bates, The suggested Retail price for a new Bates Caprilli is currently $1795.00 and the Collegiate Convertible CC is $994.50 (this is for brand new ones) Unless one is more used than the other?

One is off someone on here, and one is off ebay, I hope they fit, if not I'll trade them in at the local tack shop, or have to resell them.. but it should fit. thanks for the help guys!
