BARREL RACERS!!! Need opinions on colt...

Please let me know your thoughts on this colt and his lineage. I'm looking at him as a possible purchase.

Much appreciated.

Very nicely bred colt, I would say he has a good feature as a barrel horse. He is built nicely too!

Easy Jet is about the only thing I recognize on those papers. I wish they had it a little further back.

That's not the greatest pic to see his confo, but his hip looks small to me and I'm not so sure about his neck. I would e-mail and ask for some better pics

He has an amazing lineage! He should run your socks off. However, I don't like the pick. It is hard for me to see! I wouldn't want to buy him from the pic alone. I would want to see him move a little bit.

Oh wow.... he is insanley bred lol.... He has some of todays best lines..... He is a g-son of Dinky's redman on the bottom, and a g-son of sticks n stones on top. Has on the money red and easy jet on top in his 1st three as well. I do have quite a collaboration or pics.....

In looking at the website, I think the Frenchmans Fly stud produced a better baby (2008 filly) with his dam than the Rock Bottom stud. However, I really love the look of Rock Bottom for speed events. He is not overpacked with too much muscle.

They really could have chosen better pics of him but looking at mum and dad, I'd say the recipe is there....can you bake up a speedster?

He has very nice foundation running/barrel lines. Based on those pictures, looks like he is put together nicely but of course before taking the trip would want the conformation pictures. His color tops him off nicely. I would make a offer of $2,000 and go from there?

Did you post him on BRB for opinions at all?

Sorry it took me a while to get on here. I haven't been on this site in a while.

YOU'RE STEALING MY HORSE!! LOL. I was also interested in buying him when my mare sells. However I personally don't like how straight his back legs are. Thats just me though and it definately would not be a deal breaker for me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE OTMR horses (we have one at our barn) and have heard good things about Sticks An Stones horses. Looks like he is an easy keeper and looks to have a kind eye.

I think he is worth the $2500 with his build and AMAZING bloodlines, but it definately could not hurt to see if they would take $2000. If you buy him, you'll have to keep me updated on how my dream horse is doing!
