I have the barrel practice pattern up. To make it easier on ya'll, I put it up on my Site manager.

www.blisteringwinds.com/pattern.html

It is uploading now, so if it is not found, try it again in a few minutes.

Wow that's great BW!! I love it I use tires too! I ride with a pro girl every Monday and she has cones. I like cones better than tires That's an awesome thing to have BW I may have to copy it LOL

very neat indeed!! turning is definitely the hardest part with Koda..lol, he likes to think the Barrel is where it isnt, so i cant use the horn too much when turning, have tro keep him straight, and then yank him over at the right moment, and then keep him going in the right direction, while remembering to yell "turn!" at the barrel, lol

Mini, well, your horse should learn to turn at the right spot before you take him up to a run. Seriously! Work on that at a trot, then at a light lope. you want him down PAT before blowing him out!

Sure, depends on the size of the pattern though. You want to stay within 5 seconds of the finishers! That is how I rate mine and his performances for the day. And I look at the time before the barrel knock-over time. Though we rarely ever get those.

It is poles he seems to want to take with us lately.
