Update post 150Fire near Erika's barn -Evacuating horses

They got two of the three out, but there are 4 others that she didn't realize were still there who are not out yet. The fire is getting bigger and continuously spreading their direction.

There are now 4 horses left and trailers on their way to get them as we speak.

Do they have trailer room for them all? If they're having to make multiple trips, how far are they going? How close is the fire?

I'm pretty clueless... obviously Erika can't give me all of the details since she's trying to take care of lots of stuff. She said trailers are on the way for the last 4, though. The fire is very close... but I'm not sure how close. Certainly within a few miles, but maybe closer. When I was talking to her a few hours earlier it was several miles away.

They're doing everything they can as quickly as they can.

If anyone can figure out a way to make it all work out, it's Erika.

That makes sense, no problem

I really hope the barn is safe and they get everyone and everything out ASAP! Thank you so much for passing this info along.

Sounds like it's a race against time now.

They are waiting for the trailers for the last horses. The fire department is at the barn. They are trying to close off the road.... that must mean that it is dangerously close.

It is very frantic and everyone is just flipping out.

It sounds really bad, please continue to keep them in your thoughts.

The trailers for the last horses are 20 minutes out and they firemen are kicking everyone off the property. I'm waiting to find out whether or not the trailer will make it in time to get the horses...

Your thoughts and prayers are desperately needed and incredibly appreciated.
