would you band a reining mane for western pleasure or just leave it as it is !!! i was told today that it would look better banded cuz it would show less movement.... what would you do!!!! thanks so much in advance! (ps. i wont cut it lol!)

No braiding for western pleasure. If its like, end of the world if you cut the mane, then band it and keep it long.

I see nothing wrong with keeping it Long and not banding it. Just put alot of gel or hair spray to keep it down and less "flowing" to be destracted.

You are a reiner right? If so, do not cut it and leave it natural, they will realize if you horse is a reiner.
