We live in Wales which is, I suppose, on the same island as England (yes, I am English!!). We went out to see Stony 3 years ago and saw Bailey's mother as a 2 year old. We saved up and bought Susie a year later - she came over in foal to Bailey's dad and had him in March 2002.

I put Susie out that morning, with 2 weeks to go, no signs of foaling. Neighbour tells me the foal was born and running about half an hour after I left!!!!

Susie did the same last year and this year - 2 weeks early with no real signs.

We decided a few weeks later we couldn't keep Bailey (whose name changed from Duncan and Foster along the way!!) and Deb came to see him. We were walking up the next field to see the other horses having seen him and he just galloped about, neighing and neighing to Deb.

Horses certainly pick their owners, right? She had to have him. We have all become really good friends since then and have many get togethers and lots of fun.

Thanks QHS!!!!!!!

yes but its a country all of its own ... full of crazy people and a language made up just to keep the English people from reading the road signs!! ha ha !! you even have to pay to enter when you cross the bridge (a bit like a zoo!) ... she is going to kill me now (I better dodge her when I see her in a couple of weeks!)

Oh I forgot to say that if you say a cus word on here then it gets '**'ed out. We both know that b.itch is not a bad word but it does make reading peoples post entertaining ... and we all know that you would never cus Jasmine

and for all the people that thinks Pat is really nice .... she has trained her German Shep to respond to a word when ramblers are crossing their foot path .. the word is VERMIN !! (Jasmine goes mad and the poor hikers have to run!) its really funny!

Talking

Hey, Deb, just as well I didn't tell everyone Jas's favourite word.... beginning with W and rhymes with hanky!!! Actually, the word started off as **** dan which was what her latest toy was called.... it developed from there. "Jasmine, where's you W****!!" There you are forum, saved you the bother of changing my word - did it myself!!

And Deb, don't worry, I'm used to your sense of humour by now.....!!!! I'd worry if there wasn't any teasing....

As for your quote, Build a Bridge, Get Over It.........make sure a chartered civil engineer checks it before you cross!!!!!!
