Bailey makes it to trotting day 2

I have some new tack for Bailey shhh don't tell mum - I had it delivered while she was on holiday LOL!!

Just updating anyone that's interested with our latest clips

http://media.putfile.com/bailey-one-hand

this was me at the end of our session - riding with one hand pretending he is a finished western pony .. it was all going well until I forgot he doesn't know how to neck rein and we ended up running into the camera person

This is our second trot under saddle Bouncy bouncy LOL!!

another one on our second day of trotting.

I must say as bouncy and all over the place as we felt I have seen people enter a dressage arena doing worse LMAO !! He can jog on the lunge so I am sure its just a matter to time before it clicks with him that I want him to slow down. He is good at doing trot to slam dunk halt *ouch* so at least he is not tanking off with me

I am sure you don't want a critique but you need to keep your eyes looking up. Lean a little farther back also. Overall looks very nice.

but If I do that I may have to open them

Thanks DL Critique from you is always welcome .. I think I am going to put my english saddle on for a while as its more comfy to post in, I just want him to learn that a walk it quite nice between trot and halt LOL!! - he caught me a few times in mid air and lets just say *ouch*

he is very voice activated - which is not good when my friend was asking me something and I answered, to Bailey everything spoken by a rider means Whoa LOL!

eyes up and lean back - I will try an repeat that in my head when next on him

Yes QHGirl - I got a show headstall too .. lots of Bling

Love the new headstall!!!!! Bailey looks awesome....and although it may feel super bouncy....it just looks (to me) like he has a big, fluid trot....but I wouldn't say you were all over the place at all.....I can see how those quick stops could be a real killer though!

Keep up the great work!!! Bailey is a true champion....looking "fly" in his tack and moving like a dream....In the US...we have a saying...P.im*p.in ain't easy"...He sure does it with style
